How does career coaching work?
We start with our free 30 minute Information Session during which you can tell me about your challenges, ask questions and find out how coaching can help you.
We then agree your overall goal and identify our headline topics to work on, for example ‘to find your future direction’.
Next I help you to prepare for our first coaching session. Read more to see how a coaching session works.
What happens during a career coaching session?
We work together on my unique copyrighted exercises, alongside supportive insightful questions, which help you to feel inspired to learn about new things, new places and new people.
From here we return to a focus on you, what stimulates you, what values are important to you and what success looks like in your world.
Our sessions are individual to you. I have a wide knowledge of a range of coaching techniques and exercises, which gives us the freedom to explore what gets you the best results.
Here are some of the things we do during a coaching session to help you to find a career you love.
- Viewing your possible futures through your new lens of positive self-belief.
- Working through my unique copyrighted exercises to think outside your current life towards new possibilities.
- Supporting you to try new things and grow beyond your comfort zone.
- Finding out what success means to you and how you want to represent your values in your career.
- Learning about the environments that will enable you to shine, develop and thrive.
- Expressing who you are and who you want to be in your life and your career.
- Letting go of perceived gaps in skills, knowledge and experience.
- Identifying ways to build on your strengths and skills to re-enforce your confidence in your abilities.
